Freeport stomps Sneads

The Freeport football team ended its three-game losing streak in emphatic fashion on Friday.
The Bulldogs got three touchdowns from Nathan Hendrickson and intercepted four passes in a 35-6 rout of Sneads in District 1-A action.
Freeport (5-4, 4-3) only allowed Sneads (3-6, 2-5) 116 yards of total offense. Justin Farmer had two interceptions, while Alex Hooter and Caleb McCormick had one apiece.
Cole Weeks was 8-of-14 passing for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Weeks opened the scoring by hitting Joe Hahr from 9 yards out and later he spotted Damen Reynolds for another 9-yard connection.
Hendrickson had touchdown runs of 8, 9 and 16 yards and finished with 88 yards rushing on 18 carries, while Cody Binder racked up 114 yards on 13 carries.
