Prep Roundup 2/25: Choctaw rallies past Crestview
Staff reports
Tanner Black whipped a walk-off double down the right field line in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday to plate Ryan Kelly and help the Choctawhatchee baseball team polish off Crestview 2-1 in dramatic fashion.
The hit shook loose a decided pitchers duel as Black and Justin Coppock were the only Indians to drive in runs.
After throwing two scoreless innings and striking out two in relief, Mykal Bailey picked up the win for the Indians (2-1), who play host to Tate Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Crestview will host that same Tate team Friday at 6:30 p.m.
