Niceville senior-to-be Ellen McNair recently made her college choice by giving a verbal commitment to Penn State.
McNair has been a standout for the Eagles the past two seasons as a catcher and as a hitter near the top of the lineup. As a junior, McNair hit .352 with 25 runs scored.
She can make the commitment official during the early signing period in November.
