The Niceville softball team closed out the Kissimmee Klassic in grand fashion on Saturday, defeating Clearwater Countryside 3-1 before routing Florida Christian 11-1 in six innings.
Jessa Watts recorded the win in each game while Kelly Hensley went 2-for-3 with one RBI against Clearwater Countryside and then went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and three RBIs against Florida Christian.
Stephanie Hartness went a perfect 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI against Florida Christian to help the Eagles move to 18-1 on the season.
Niceville travels to Fort Walton Beach on Tuesday.

l South Walton 8, Walton 1: Walton exploded for eight runs in the second inning to down Walton on the road in a bitter District 1-3A rivalry.
Jake Wright was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, Justin Moore was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Jake Hawkins also went 3-for-4 with a run.
Jared Bump picked up the complete-game win behind six strikeouts and also went 3-for-4 with an RBI from the plate.
South Walton (7-10, 2-2) takes on Glascow (Ky.) at 6 p.m. on Monday. Walton hosts Donaldson Academy (Ky.) at 2 p.m. on Monday.

l Choctawhatchee 8, Owensboro (Ky.) 5: The Indians picked up their first win in the Beach Bash behind a steady effort on the mound from Travis Holland and a four-run second inning.
David Weber led the Indians offensively, going 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. Holland helped his own cause by going 3-for-4 while Tanner Black was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
The Indians (9-9) continue in the Beach Bash with Franklin (Ky.) at 6 p.m. on Monday.

l Freeport 7, Quincy Monroe 1: Kory Arnquist tossed a complete game, gave up two hits and struck out seven to guide Freeport to the win despite just four hits from the Bulldogs.
Drew Porter provided Freeport's offensive jolt by clubbing a two-run double.
